2。1。2 Metalanguage and Narrative Novel
Feng (2004) believes that narrative discourse in narrative novels not only indicated the narrator’s description but also implied the author’s comment。 The technical device of metalanguage can make stories more realistic and vivid and highlight the characters。 So that the comment will become more objective and the narrator become more “reliable” in minds of readers。 In addition, the description and evaluation of the metalanguage makes the code of language deviates from the overall style of the main narrative discourse so that it will become more prominent in the novel。 Therefore, it is more worthwhile for linguistic study。 His further studies on this issue (2007) demonstrates that the metalanguage plays an important role in the narration and commentary of narrative novels。来~自,优^尔-论;文*网www.youerw.com +QQ752018766-
