摘要语言是文化的载体，词汇是语言中最为活跃的元素，而颜色词更与我们人类密切相关，体现不同地区和民族的文化特征。英汉两种语言里都有各种关于“白”的词及词组。本文运用对比的方法，对英汉颜色词“白”就文化差异对语言的影响做了比较详细的探讨，指出其共性与差异性，并对差异性进行重点阐述，文中探讨了在跨文化交际中如何处理这些文化差异的方式，以便尽量避免产生沟通障碍，真正达到交际的目的。因此，本文一定能从文化差异对颜色词“白”的研究做出贡献。并且，也能填补颜色词“白”在跨文化交际中的空白。82825

Abstract    Language is culture’s carrier and is the most active factors, while color terms are closely linked with human beings。 There are various kinds of words and phrases about white both in Chinese and English languages。 This paper makes a detailed discussion about the influence on languages by cultural differences,which points out the similarities and differences, as well as illustrates the differences emphatically。 It explores the ways of dealing with the cultural differences in the intercultural communication so as to avoid the obstacles created as far as possible and reach achieve the communicative effect。 Therefore, This paper will surely contribute to the study of cultural difference on color word “white”。 And it also helps to fill in the gap of cross-cultural communication when it comes of white terms。

    The study about color terms can be found in such as psychology, linguistics, anthropology neurophysiology, etc。 The words and phrases of different colors are very rich in Chinese and English。 In different cultures, color could deliver various meanings to people。 Because of the different traditions and cultural background, some phrases with color not only express their original meaning, but also form a different cultural connotation in the culture。 The different national and historical background, the ancient traditions and customs are the reasons for the various connotation of different colors。 This is an everlasting culture phenomenon。 The special language of different countries and peoples are profound and extensive all over the world。 The color connotation is an important tool for intercultural communication, at the same time, it is also an crucial part of cultural form between interaction and interdependence。 It is difficult and impossible to communicate effectively and correctly with others if a nation’s people do not get the specific meaning of a color of other people。论文网
