功能对等理论指导下汽车英文说明书翻译奔驰轿车为例

Abstract Recent years, proportion of imported cars in China is higher and higher and the Chinese translation of English automobile manuals has received much attention。 Compared with traditional translation theory, the functional equivalence theory of Eugene Nida attaches more importance on the reaction of readers, and it also takes a full consideration of respective pragmatic differences, cultural differences and differences of thinking in two cultures。 So it has a guiding significance on the translation practice of English automobile manuals。 Taking the Chinese translation of English automobile manuals as the theme, this article firstly introduces the functional equivalence theory, and then it analyzes characteristics of English automobile manuals from three aspects—vocabularies, forms of literature and language structure。 Secondly, this article applies theory into practice and comes up with some methods in the process of translation。 And it picks representative examples in the English Manual of Mercedes-Benz C Series to testify those methods。源-于,优+尔^论=文.网wwW.yOueRw.com 原文+QQ752.018766
