Chapter I  Introduction

    Currently, much attention has been paid to translators’ subjectivity in translation。 During the process of translation activity, translator’s performance plays a vital role in determining the final result of translation。 Due to the differences existed in different cultures, social ideologies, vocabulary vacancies and etc。, translators need to exert their subjective initiative and creativity when dealing with various situations in translation。 The core idea of Skopos theory is that the intended purpose or function of the translation text determines the translation strategies and methods。 As for the purpose or function of translation, communication is its main point, especially for the news text。 To speak it specifically, from the prospective of Skopos theory, translation is regarded as an intended behavior, of which the main purpose is not to match the translation text with the original one perfectly, but to achieve the primary function of communicating。 So the evaluating criteria of whether a news translation text is successful or not depends on whether its intended purpose has been achieved。 To realize such purpose, translators’ subjectivity plays a vital role in selecting and applying the proper translation strategies based on their initiative interpreting about the original text。源Q于W优H尔J论K文M网WwW.youeRw.com 原文+QQ75201.,8766 从目的论的视角看译者在新闻翻译中的主体性(2):http://www.youerw.com/yingyu/lunwen_196474.html
