摘 要随着英文在全世界范围内的广泛传播,加之全球化这一大趋势,跨文化交流成为历史必然。而称谓语的使用恰当与否是影响跨文化交流的一项重要因素,因此了解和掌握英汉称谓语的差异显得尤为重要。本文将从介绍称谓语的定义出发,将称谓语分为亲属称谓语和社会称谓语两类,再对比研究这两类称谓语在中英文中的差异,然后从历史、文化、价值观等方面分析造成这种差异的原因,从而使人们在了解英汉称谓语差异的同时可以更好地实现跨文化交流。通过详细的对比和分析,中文称谓语要比英文称谓语更复杂、更灵活。34815

Abstract With the worldwide spread of English and an inevitable trend of globalization, cross-cultural communication has become a historical necessity. As an important part of language, the proper use of address forms even affects the success of cross-cultural communication. Therefore, it is particularly important to understand and master the differences between English and Chinese appellations. And this paper will begin with the definition of address forms, and pide them into kinship terms and social appellations. Then it will analyze the differences of Chinese and English address terms from these two sectors and analyze the reasons from the aspects of history, culture and value aspects in order to make people understand and realize intercultural communication more effectively. Through a meticulous comparison and analysis, one can find Chinese address forms are more complex and flexible.
