摘要莎士比亚十四行诗自问世以来引起了人们的广泛兴趣，并促生出种种争论，相较于其同时期作品，莎士比亚十四行诗在主题、文学形式等方面都更为优异。本文从诗歌意象出发，主要以时间、自然两种意象为立足点通过对玫瑰、太阳、星星、海、自然界中的动物、四季以及其它代表时间的意象的分析，来探求莎士比亚在当时的时代中所表现出的先进的人生观，及他所追求的友谊和爱。通过对莎士比亚十四行诗的学习，可以学习鉴赏莎翁独特的语言特色，尤其是他的精致华丽的用词和新颖独特的修辞。同时也可以领略英语的博大魅力，体会英语文化的精髓。40817

Abstract Since the publishment, Shakespearean sonnets have aroused a lot of interest and concerns, and have produced all sorts of arguments. Compared with the works at the time of Elizabethan England, Shakespearean sonnets are superior in terms of themes and literary forms. From the perspective of images, this thesis analyzes a variety of images in the sonnets, based time and nature, such as the rose, the sun, the sea, stars, animals, seasons and so forth. On the basis of research, this thesis aims to explore Shakespearean values and his pursuit of friendship and love. Thus, the study of images in Shakespearean Sonnets could help us to appreciate the unique lingual characteristics, especially his elaborate diction and original figures of speech. Meanwhile, English magnificent charm could be presented and the essence of English culture could be displayed in front of us.

I. Introduction
William Shakespeare is the great dramatist and poet, and he set playwrights, poets, actors, shareholders in a troupe. He wrote a total of 39 plays, 154 sonnets lyrics, two long narrative poems, and several other miscellaneous poems in his lifetime. Four Tragedies that he wrote have become the top of the literary treasure of the world. Some of comedies and historical dramas he wrote reached the top level of world literature works. The artistic achievements and status of Shakespearean Sonnets in the history of literature could compare with his finest comedies.
Because of the unique life experience and the social contact in the lower persiform character, Shakespeare has a profound and unique observation of the Renaissance society. There is a saying “poetry as expression of ambitions and writings are for conveying truth.” in ancient China. That is to say, a poet often expresses his emotions by means of his poems.
