摘要肢体语言在小学英语教学中起着不可替代的作用，在小学英语课堂中，对教师来说辅助英语教学的重要方式之一就是使用肢体语言。教师灵活、合理、恰到好处地运用肢体语言，不仅能帮助学生提高学习效率，而且可以激发学生的学习积极性,贯穿课堂教学，促进师生交流。随着小学英语教学的改革与创新，小学英语语言的教学方式与教学内容也不断丰富。肢体语言作为语言教学的重要组成部分，对小学英语的课堂语言教学产生了深远的影响。教师要采用正确的方式方法和策略帮助学生提高英语水平和语言能力,不断对课堂教学的效率和质量进行较大的提升。教师要把握好肢体语言应用的度，以便更好地发挥肢体语言在小学英语课堂教学中的作用。
