摘要本文首先评述了常州市旅游资源的概况，然后以常州市旅游业发展现状为基础，详细分析了常州市旅游业发展滞缓的成因，探讨了旅游业发展过程中必须兼顾的可持续发展问题，提出了常州市旅游业可持续发展的方法研究。研究表明，常州市旅游业发展滞缓表现为游客人数有所萎缩，旅游业产值有所下降。究其原因，主要是常州市旅游资源与邻近城市同质性较高，旅游景点竞争优势不明显；旅游市场整体形象不够鲜明，缺乏拳头旅游产品，景区知名度不高；旅游产业结构有待优化，妨碍旅游业的良性发展；旅游环境需要改善，旅游开发组织化程度有待提高；服务体系有待健全，旅游体制改革相对滞后；旅游人才相对匮乏，市场开发投入较少且市场占有率较低；旅游景区文化内涵挖掘不够；境外客源市场开拓力度不足。为了使常州市的旅游业实现可持续发展，应该从这几方面入手：实施旅游产业总体规划，促进旅游业可持续发展；确定旅游业的发展政策，营造良好的旅游环境，落实保护职责；面向市场需求，加强旅游资源整合力度；实施精品战略，提升旅游文化内涵，塑造旅游名牌；发展生态旅游，深度开发专项旅游路线；强化组织落实，做好规划与宣传，扩大客源市场。72865
