摘要 在当今多层次、多主体、多面向、多维度的社会参与是社会建设的基础力量，也是衡量现代化进程的一个重要指标。社会参与不但是现代化发展的具体表现，也是现代化开启的重要动力。从体制角度讲，现代化的过程就是从传统的、国家管控为主的社会体制向现代的、以社会自治为主体的长远社会体制目标逐渐转型发展的过程。社会参与是社会政策科学化、民主化的保证，是我国今后一段时期内体制改革的主体内容。因此本文以金昌市居民的社会参与情况入手，研究探讨居民社会参与的理论概念及其理论基础，分析金昌市居民社会参与的现状、特征、作用、影响和居民社会参与对社会建设的必要性和可行性（意义），有助于我们切实了解居民社会参与对社会建设的意义及作用。通过本课题的研究，突出居民社会参与对社会建设的必要性和重要意义。 42084

Social participation of residents in China
Abstract In today's multi level, multi subject, multi dimension and multi dimension social participation is the basic power of social construction, and also an important indicator to measure the process of modernization. Social participation is not only a concrete manifestation of the development of modernization, but also an important driving force for the modernization drive. From an institutional perspective, the process of modernization is the process of gradual transformation and development from the traditional and national control oriented social system to the modern, social autonomy as the main body of the long-term social system. Social participation is the guarantee of scientific and democratic social policy, and it is the main content of the reform of the system in the future.
