The analysis of our small and medium-sized family firm’s financing behavior
Abstract: The firm that has Chinese feudalist feature linked by the blood relationship and combines his firm value and family-owned firm value into one, which occupies a leading place in worldwide business organizations. Whether in the mature or emerging markets, Most firms have grown from family firms. In China, Economic development should go hand in hard with whether family firms evolve through time or not. The small and medium-sized family firm plays an important role in the family business; he plays an important role in many aspects such as financial revenue, employment, countryside industrialization development. The shortage, tension of firm' s capital and the absence of policies have presented financing difficulties and capital structure in small and medium-sized family firms, which block their expansion.This paper is an analysis of our small and medium-sized family firm’s financing behavior, collects financing theory, surveys the small and medium-sized family firms in Shanghai by the way of field interviews and questionnaire. Basing on data the paper gives an abstract of the present conditions of collecting funds in small and medium-sized family firms in our country and makes an empirical analysis of financing behavior. The article finds out which factors influencing corporate financing acts. In order to improve financing efficiency, this article presents several suggestions to transfer the characteristic of small and medium-sized family firm to their advantage and gain a good opportunity for development.
