The Application of Case Teaching Method in College Mathematics Teaching
Abstract：This paper mainly studies the case teaching method in university mathematics teaching should pay attention to some of the problems and analyze the teaching effects. This paper gives the case teaching method in the teaching of college mathematics research and development status. Case teaching method has been used in disciplines such as law, medicine and economic management, and in these disciplines have developed more mature. But less application in the field of mathematics, and the application effect is not ideal. Next to a brief overview of case teaching method. Case teaching is directly by the practical cases, to introduce, in solve the concrete problems and introduces the corresponding methods and theory of a kind of teaching method. Later, on the basis of the existing case study teaching, carding case teaching method. Introduces the origin and historical background of case teaching. Draw a conclusion the application of case teaching method in college mathematics teaching’s advantages and disadvantages and suggestion. Gives some principles of case selection, design method of the classroom teaching process. Then, designed questionnaire to understand that the problem case teaching should pay attention to , and to evaluate the effect of case teaching.later,< probability and mathematical statistics > ,Take chapter one for example, Carry out the case teaching course. The design process of a few cases are presented: including problem analysis, the application of mathematical knowledge, set up the mathematical models, problem solving, generalize, etc. Finally, It is make the conclusion. The application of case teaching method in college mathematics teaching contribute to stimulate students' interest, cultivate students' ability to analyze and solve problems.
