    High school students’ language learning is deeply affected by language anxiety and cannot well meet the demand of society. In order to reflect the situation objectively and improve the students’ learning situation, a questionnaire will be made to explain this situation clearly. It is mainly made to find the causing factors of high school students’ English learning and propose some strategies to overcome them. Random sample of 112 sophomore high school students will be asked to complete the questionnaire. Then the statistics of the survey will be analyzed. The survey adopts a method which combines the qualitative approach with the quantitative approach.
    The whole paper will be pided into five parts. This paper mainly discusses the causing factors of language learning of senior students and strategies for alleviating language anxiety. In the first part, the paper will give a brief introduction to the language anxiety existing in high school students’ learning progress. The second part is the literature review, which will introduce the definitions of language anxiety and the types of language anxieties. In the third part, the paper will list the types of the language anxiety and the causes of these anxieties. In the fourth part the paper will provide some strategies to overcome these anxieties. In the last part, this paper will make a conclusion.
