    Abstract Podcast,  a new kind of Internet-based learning resource, has gained more and more attention under the backdrop of rapid development of autonomic learning in college. Among so many disciplines, the college English learning, particularly, relates closely with podcast. For another, motivation has always been regarded as an important role in language learning. In recent years more and more motivation research has been carried given the China’s unique teaching situation. And researchers are increasingly calling on the specific study on  the motivation in different learning settings. This thesis explores the effects of  podcast on college EFL learners’  learning motivation. The author does  lot of work on  literature review to gain theoretical support for the thesis, and designs  a  questionnaire  to collect data. A  conclusion  is drawn  after the data analysis;  podcast-based language learning can meet college students’ common English learning motivation and  convert motivation  into practical actions. The research results show  that interest is the major motivation in promoting students to learn English in the use of podcast. And the use of podcast is in a positive correlation with EFL learners’ attitudes to learn English. What’s more, EFL learners’ acceptance  of  the use of podcast  is positive on the whole, which make the idea of taking podcast into formal courses as well as extra-curriculum activities hopeful.   41995

    摘 要 播客作为一种基于互联网的新型学习资源,在当今大学网络自主学习迅速发展的背景下越来越受到重视。在众多学科当中,大学英语学习与播客的联系尤为紧密。而学习动机一直被认为是影响英语学习的最关键学习者因素之一。近年来基于中国国情的动机研究越来越多,研究者也越来越提倡在不同的学习情境下研究动机。 本文以此为出发点,旨在探究教育播客对于大学生英语学习动机的影响。通过文献梳理、理论支撑、调查问卷设计、数据分析和归纳总结,本文得出相应结论: 基于播客的英语学习能满足学生的一般性动机并促使其转化为实际学习行动;在运用播客进行英语学习的过程当中,兴趣为学习者的主要动机;教育播客的使用与学习者的英语学习态度之间呈积极相关; 大学生对使用播客进行英语学习的接受情况总体乐观,这为后续运用播客进行自主学习与课堂学习提供可能。
