    On the Effects of Commonly-used Games in Primary English Teaching Abstract The aim of this research is to analyze English teachers’ opinions about the application of commonly-used games in primary school English class. The research is designed for analyzing the effects of games commonly used in primary school English class. Data are collected through classroom observations, interviews, and questionnaires. Participants consist of 62 instructors from Grade Six of Greentown Yuhua Primary School in Hangzhou. Based on the data analysis, four rules are formed to help English teachers reflect on English teaching and improve teaching skills in class. Data analysis reveals that the application of commonly-used games as an instructional support tool may affect the way how games are employed in English class, efficiency in English learning, and the perception and attitudes of instructors and students towards these games. 47658

     浅析常用游戏对于小学生英语教学的影响

    摘要过去30年,英语教育受到传统思想的影响,一直以填鸭式的教育模式,不利于英语教育的可持续发展,将游戏教学应用于英语课堂,可以激发学生学习兴趣,活跃课堂气氛,增加师生互动,帮助英语教师对英语教学工作进行总结反思,提高英语课堂教学质量与学生的学习效率,真正做到寓教于乐。

    本次研究的目的是研究游戏在小学英语教学中的作用。研究分析常用游戏类型在小学英语课堂上的应用,游戏教学对于小学生英语学习兴趣和学习能力以及师生互动三方面的影响。通过课堂观察,访谈和问卷调查的形式,收集数据,分析数据,得出结论。实验对象为杭州绿城育华小学六年级2班和3班的62名学生。根据实验数据,归纳总结小学英语课堂中常用的游戏类型,这些游戏对于课堂教学的有何影响,从而讨论游戏教学在英语课堂中应用时应注意的事项。
