英语绘本符合小学生的认知特点，作为辅助材料应用于英语教学中能有效提高学生阅读效果。英语绘本阅读能有效激发学生的阅读兴趣和动机。
英语绘本主要作为教材的补充和延伸，通过运用合适的阅读技巧和策略，有助于提高学生的阅读效果，以实现教学效益的最大化。
而教师在绘本阅读的应用中常碰到绘本阅读课前准备工作量大，教学过程耗时长，绘本资源缺乏的困难。相信加强各区域各学校间的合作，共享英文绘本资源和课件，教师合作备课并帮助学生做好课前预习准备工作，适当删减教学活动能在一定程度上帮助解决这些问题。

1. Introduction
In recent years, picture book reading has become popular in China. Picture books serve as a “stepping-stones” for various educational and pedagogical activities have influenced many primary school English teachers. In various primary and middle schools, teachers look forward to combine their English class with these picture books and improve the levels of education and knowledge.
