In our country, the research on the relationship between the emotional factors and English teaching starts late. It was not until the 1980s that it began to attract the attention of Chinese scholars on the theory of the language education. In the 21st century, the formulation of the new “the ordinary high school English curriculum standard” (hereinafter referred to as the “new standard”) showed that the foreign teaching in China attaches great importance to the role of emotional factors. The basic ideas of the new standard are: Foreign language teaching must be oriented to human beings. It should also face all the students and pay attention to quality education. Among them, it particularly emphasizes that teachers should pay attention to each student’s emotions, stimulate their interest in English learning and help them establish sense of accomplishment and confidence in English study to make them develop comprehensive ability of using language, improve humane quality, strengthen the practice ability and train the innovation spirit in the process of learning.
