With these doubts and thoughts, a survey was conducted about it. The purpose of this survey is to find possible answers for the following questions. Firstly, what is the influence of mandarin to oral English? Secondly, whether this influence is positive transfer or negative transfer? Thirdly, in what aspect does the transfer incarnate? Through this survey, the author tried to discover the impact of mandarin to oral English and the similarities between two languages.
