摘要在当今的信息化时代，新闻已经渗透到人类社会的各个领域。新闻标题作为新闻报道的开始，在新闻报道中起着独特的作用。本文旨在分析报刊中英语新闻标题的语法特征，分析发现：英语新闻标题形成了其自身特有的一套语法体系：如冠词、助动词、连词等一些虚词的省略；就时态而言，英语新闻标题常用现在时、将来时和现在进行时。英语新闻标题中语态和标点符号也有其独特的语法规则。作者希望本论文能为英语新闻从业者提供一些指导和理论支持，同时也能为英语学习者提供一些帮助，提高学习效率。81990

Abstract In today’s information age, news has penetrated into all fields of human society。 As the beginning of news reports, news headline plays a unique role in the news reports。 Based on the analysis of the grammatical features of English news headlines in various newspapers and periodicals, it finds that English news headlines are endowed with distinctive grammatical features, such as omission of some function words like articles, conjunctions and so on。 As for Tenses, English news headlines often use the present tense, the future tense and present progressive tense。 Voices and punctuations also have their unique grammar rules in English news headlines。 The author hopes that this paper can provide our English news practitioners with some instructions and theoretical support, as well as render some help for English language learners and improve the learning efficiency。论文网

I。 Introduction

    With the development of internationalization and globalization, all the people in the world know about the events at home and abroad through various channels of news media。 Nowadays news reports and news publishing industry has been given due attention from scholars and researchers, journalism has also become an important subject investigating writing, editing, demonstration and so on in the newspapers, magazines, radio, television broadcast collection。 Meanwhile, news English has become the research object of the scholars which studies the outstanding writing characteristics。 In a literal sense, news English refers to English used in news reports and news broadcasts。 Due to these characteristics of news reports: Timeliness, Brevity, Unambiguity, Prominence, Proximity, Authority, Human Interest and so on, News editors adopted a series of departure from the normal writing methods, making the news headlines form a unique set of grammatical system。 Therefore, news headlines are being given attention by more and more scholars, and even become an independent research area。
