新艳秋的表演艺术微探
程派，作为京剧旦行四大流派之一，以其挺拔秀丽、刚柔并济、若断若续的独特唱腔，深受广大程迷的喜爱。从程砚秋大师到赵荣琛、王吟秋、新艳秋,再到当今在京剧界有着重要地位的迟小秋、张火丁等优秀传人。而新艳秋作为程派传人之一，虽然自始至终都没能得到程先生的亲传，但她却得到了程先生老师的悉心指导。从唱工上讲，听她的演唱，即能领悟到程腔的气段情连﹑幽咽回环，又有抑郁深沉﹑刚柔并济之风韵。从做工上讲，那举手投足渗透出的气定神闲﹑温存含蓄之美，宛如一幅充满古典气质的仕女图。本文从新艳秋的唱腔艺术和做工艺术进行微探，不仅仅是研究她的演唱﹑表演艺术，更重要的是研究她的人文精神，既对艺术本质的不懈探索，和对艺术传承的无私奉献。文章最后呼吁大家关注京剧艺术﹑传播京剧艺术，弘扬优秀民族文化。
一、新艳秋的艺术人生
(一)萌芽时期
新艳秋，原名王兰芳，1910年出生于北京，9岁以“月明珠”的艺名，开始学习梆子，11岁拜钱则诚为师转学皮黄。[1]她十四五岁迷上程派，她的哥哥王子祥同样是程迷，兄妹俩时常躲在程砚秋唱戏的北京华乐园的角落里进行“偷戏”。日积月累，新艳秋学会了不少程派戏，她哥哥也会拉程派唱腔的胡琴了。
