摘 要:花开生两面,人生佛魔间。严嵩,《明史》 称“无他才略,惟一意媚上,窃权罔利。”自己绝言:“平身报国惟忠赤,身死从人说是非。”作为一个在历史上非常有争议的人物,无疑是争论与探究的热点。本文无意过多对严嵩的政治人生、历史地位作出如何的评价,撇开其历史争论,单单就严嵩的书法艺术,在历史、民间深入人心的所谓“奸臣”流传排挤下,严嵩的书法作品遭受以人废字的“礼遇”之事。由此及论书品与人品,因人废书一事。从而,我们应知道,因人废书这一现象,在现代百家争鸣的艺术殿堂里,更应辩证看待。对于学书,更应看清与思虑字内与字外的书艺、书道。以期窥视书法的中国文化和暗含的中国哲学。77496

1。1严嵩生平
严嵩(1480年-1567年),明朝时代人,字惟中,号介溪,江西分宜人,专国政达20年之久,为中国历史上著名的政治家、文学家、书法家。官运亨通,谨身殿大学士、少傅兼太子太师,少师、华盖殿大学士,拜相入阁。自小学习声律,少年聪慧,善于作对。如地方父母官口占一联:“关山千里,乡心一夜,雨丝丝。”他随口应对:“帝阙九重,圣寿万年,天荡荡。”[ 李诩:《戒庵老人漫笔》卷五《严分宜》 中华书局出版社 ]对得很是工整,小时就被称为神童。《明史》将严嵩列为明代六大奸臣之一,称其“惟一意媚上,窃权罔利”。 现在透过历史典籍、深化的戏曲和文艺作品,严嵩的奸臣形象已深入民间。严嵩晚年被贬,削籍为民,家产尽抄,儿子被斩。晚景凄凉,只能流浪在祖屋旁搭一陋室,寄食其中,无人问津。嘉靖四十五年(1566)四月,严嵩在孤独和贫病交加中去世。死时无人吊唁,连棺材都没有,实在是令人唏嘘。临死前,严嵩艰难地写下“平生报国惟忠赤,身死从人说是非”,掷笔而死。严嵩是史学争论颇多的人,权臣,奸臣,忠臣,各说纷纭,这里无需解说,却也是位文人与书法造诣颇深的名人。在这浅谈其书法艺术,深究抛开“奸臣史学”下对话,以新时代的观念对话其书法艺术。
