— A Case Study of Zhao Yuanren’s Translation
I。 Introduction
Children’s literature (CL) is aimed at meeting children readers’ needs。 As we all know, only if the children are strong, can our country be promising; only if the young people are intelligent, can our country be prosperous。 Children are the future of our country。 It is universally acknowledged that the children’s enlightenment education through literature is also crucial to shape their personality and ways of thinking。 Hence, both CL and its translation are very significant。文献综述
CL, as an important component of literature field, has always been marginalized in the system of Chinese literature, and the studies of CL translation have long been neglected in the field of translation studies。
When it comes to the beginning of Chinese CL translation, it can be traced back to the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China。 At that time, Chinese CL translation began sprouting。 During the May 4th New Cultural Movement, Chinese people began to pay attention to children and their readings, and a lot of foreign works beloved by children were introduced to China。 Meanwhile, with the increasing concern, Chinese come to realize that it is necessary to specially create reading materials for children, so CL and it’s translation begun to develop in China。 Till 1979, China implemented the reform and opening-up policy, since then, China opened a new era, Chinese economy began to take off and society took on a new look。 With the advancement of economy and society, Chinese culture has never been so thriving and prosperous。 Chinese CL translation is no exception。 Hence, in China, there has been a tendency to massively introduce foreign works in children’s literary circle。
In recent years, with the implementation of the one-child policy, Chinese parents are paying more and more attention to children’s education。 They place high expectations on the only child and hope their children with a bright future。 This factor stimulates the development of CL and its translation。 What’s more, along with the implementation of the strategy of prospering China through science and education and strengthening China through talents, Chinese government has increased the investment in education。 Therefore, the social situation is excellent, CL is also in full flourish。
This paper is pided into four parts。 Part one is an introduction。 Part two is literature review。 Part three is the core of this thesis, mainly introducing the linguistic features of the three Chinese version of Alice in Wonderland。 The last part is the conclusion。来.自^优+尔-论,文:网www.youerw.com +QQ752018766-

II。 Literature Review
2。1 Survey of the Researches on CL Translation
Since the 21st century, more than 100 articles about CL translation can be retrieved in the core journals of Chinese academic dissertation full-text database and Chinese academic periodical full-text database, including nearly 50 M。S。 Dissertations and over 10 B。S。 Dissertations, which all take Alice in Wonderland as an example。 The research perspectives cover three levels: studies on CL translation in a certain period and its overall development process, studies on translators of CL, and studies on translated text in combination with various theories from China and western countries。
In 2006, Xiao Yan tried to come up with that the CL translation should follow the principle of children-orientation from the perspective of skopos theory。【14】 In 2002, Liu Jinglin put forward a children-oriented translation, requiring the translators to express ideas from the children’s point of view。【8】 In 2009, Li Shuangling tried to explain the phenomenon of re-translation from the perspective of reception theory。【7】 《爱丽丝梦游仙境记》的译本语言特点分析赵元任的中译本为例(2):http://www.youerw.com/yingyu/lunwen_129809.html
