The core idea of OBE is that education is based on students' learning outcomes, therefore it is a very important to follow the principles of Clarity of focus and High expectations in senior high school English teaching。                                                                                                                       

Curriculum standard is a specific description of the outcomes of students after a certain educational stage。 Defining students’ expected learning outcomes needs to be based on high school English Curriculum Standards。

4。1。1 General objectives

The general goal of the high school English curriculum is to enable students to further clarify the purpose of English learning, develop the ability of autonomous learning and cooperative learning on the basis of learning English at the stage of compulsory education; form effective English learning strategies; and cultivate students' comprehensive language skills。 The formation of comprehensive language ability is based on the development of language skills, language knowledge, emotional attitudes, learning strategies and cultural awareness。 Teaching aims can be pided as: aims of language skill, aims of language knowledge, aims of emotion and attitude, aims of learning strategy, and aims of cultural notion。

According to new curriculum standard, the objectives of students English language knowledge in senior high school includes pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, function and topic。 Knowledge is an important basis for developing language skills。 Therefore, senior high school teaching should develop students' learning outcomes from these five aspects。

The pronunciation objectives ask students to pay attention to their pronunciation, and trying to understand others and be understood by others in English communication。 In the actual communication students should be able to understand and express implied intentions and attitudes based on voice and intonation, and making their intonation be natural, decent, smooth。 According to the voice, students required to identify and write some unfamiliar words or simple statements。

The vocabulary objectives require students to learn the vocabulary’s form, grammar rules, collocation and function,and to be able to accurately remember and judge the meaning of words in different contexts。 Vocabulary learning should achieve the requirements of the new curriculum that students need to learn about 3000 words and 400-500 idioms or fixes, which is helpful to understand and express different functions, intentions and attitudes。

Grammar is one of the three cornerstones of language learning。 It is an indispensable part of language knowledge。 It is also a major prerequisite for us to improve language skills。 Senior high school English grammar comprehensively include tense, voice, non-restrictive verbs, various complex clauses, vocabulary structure, vocabulary collocation, sentence structure and other common grammar。 After learning, students should be able to further grasp the description of time, place, location and appropriately describe and express views, attitudes, emotions, etc。。
