According to new curriculum standard, the target of students English language skills in senior high school includes listening, speaking, reading and writing。 Listening and reading is the language information input channels in the process of communication。 Speaking and writing is the language information output channels。 These four skills complement and promote each other in language learning and communication。 They are not only the content of learning, but also the means of learning。
Listening objectives require students to identify different attitudes expressed in different tones and understand the discussion and conversation about familiar topics。 In listening comprehension, students need to grasp the viewpoints and memorize key points in the dialogues or passages to answer questions。
