In this paper, it focuses on exploring the relationship between emotional factors and language learners instead of the cognitive abilities which people usually note。 Through the study of emotional factors, we can make language learning more effective。

2。1 Development of the research of second language acquisition 源C于H优J尔W论R文M网WwW.youeRw.com 原文+QQ752-018766
In the early years, studies emphasized the linguistic characteristics of a learners’ language, especially grammar, and the study of Chomsky’s grammar model was the best example。 Later, studies were focused on the pragmatic aspects of a learner’s language, using the speech act correctly, and gradually using the sociolinguistic point of view。 Therefore, many researchers continued to emphasize how to develop the grammatical competence of second language learners。 But other research experts were more concerned about how learners develop the ability to use language。 At the same time, many researchers tried to explain the psychological processes of second language acquisition and use of language, while others focused on the society that affected language development。
Academics have reached consensus that it is easy to be influenced by emotional factors during the process of SLA。 Krashen, Ellis and Stern first put forward the emotional research and made great contributions。 Krashen used the research results of psychology and sociology for reference and added the results of emotional factors into his own five hypothesis theories。 Then, Krashen put forward the Affective Filter Hypothesis。 Stern thought the learning results were positively correlated with learners’ attitudes towards the target language。 Extroverted people were easier to succeed than introverted people。 In other words, the influence of emotional factors on SLA equaled the influence of cognitive abilities on SLA。 Both of them could not be ignored (Li, Long 93)。
Based on the early theory, Krahsen’s theory began to develop in the late 1970s。 In the early 1980s, some books refined and extended Krashen’s theory and opinion。 Krashen’s theory was based on the following five basic assumptions: the Acquisition Learning Hypothesis, the Natural Order Hypothesis, the Input Hypothesis, the Affective Filter Hypothesis and the Monitor Hypothesis。
In the 1990s, the research of SLA was multilateral。 The research area and the research space were widened continuously。 During this period, researcher made a deeper study of the influence of emotional factors in the process of second language learning。 In Ellis’s new book, he tried to explore the importance of emotional factors from the aspect of anxiety, motivation and adventure。 Ellis pided anxiety into three types: trait anxiety, state anxiety and situation anxiety。 Among them, he thought the state anxiety was a more persistent anxiety tendency (Ellis 294 )。
The study of SLA has achieved considerable results in the last ten years。 Nevertheless, the SLA is still an extremely complicated process and phenomenon, the law of its understanding is far from exhausted。
2。2The current research status at home and abroad
Now the study of second language acquisition has not only focused on the linguistic category, but also referred to a wide range of psychological linguistics, applied linguistics, linguistics, sociology, psychology, social psychology, education, anthropology and other research results。 The study of second language acquisition is by no means a simple synthesis of these disciplines。 It has its own relative independence, unity and irreplaceability。
In recent years, the SLA has shifted its focus on the form of the language itself to language learners。 There are three main research methods at home: quantitative research based on data material, qualitative research based on interview, observation and other materials and non-material research (Dai, Wang 30)。 Domestic research is mainly based on non-material and is gradually changing to the material and the quantity。 However, we still have problems in the research of second language acquisition。 First, the research theory can not be compared to international standards yet。 Second, the research theory is not deep enough。 Third, we should improve the research methods (Guo 237)。 Regrettably, China has not achieved results in the study of emotional factors in SLA。 学习者的情感因素对二语习得的影响(2):http://www.youerw.com/yingyu/lunwen_202749.html
