2.2 Junior School Students
Students in junior high school are usually curious, suspicious and active. Their outlook and value about the world are mainly established in their junior middle school career. Students are usually very active and eager to communicate with others. They tend to show themselves and get praised by their teachers, parents and friends. They are eager to make progress. So they always try to study hard, to answer questions actively in class, to be involved in different activities, to question anything they come across, to be very curious with the life and the world, and the like.
But at the same time, they are especially rebellious. Self-consciousness of the students in junior high school is very stronger and stronger with the growth of their bodies and the surroundings and themselves. They refuse the care and suggestion given by their parents. They want to show they have grown up and they are independent. If parents and teachers force them to accept the adults’ ideas or let them do the things that the adults ask them to do, they will feel very rebellious and just act against them, which will result in the bad influence for their study, even for their life.
2.2.1 The Psychological Characteristics of Junior High School Students
