Abstract
Happiness is an everlasting topic for both philosophers and ordinary people.People from all walks of life often use different ways to express their understanding of happiness. Throughout history, a kind of writing style is enduring, sages and wise (wo)men express their own small happy moments in life. The author regards it as the style of “Ah, is this not happiness?” because they all have the same ending——” 不亦乐乎” or” 岂不快哉” or “不禁乐而开笑” 。
This thesis is about the study and translation of this special writing style. And at all times and in all countries, collection, research and translation of the men of literature and contemporary writers and even internet writers are inclined to adopt this kind of writing style to express their own way of Lohas life. In order to take its essence, the author try to explain her own opinion about the style of “Ah, is this not happiness?” .
This paper falls into five parts. The first part serves as introduction. The second part is about the study of “Ah, is this not happiness” and translation of it. The third part is about the four methods of translations of the style of” Ah, is this not happiness?” .The fourth part is about Practice of Translations of Different Authors’ Styles of “Ah, is this not happiness?” according to historical orders. The fifth part functions as a conclusion.

摘要 无论对于哲学家抑或是普通人而言,幸福都是永恒的主题。来自各行各业的人都热衷于用他们自己的方式来表达他们对于幸福的理解,从古到今,有一种文体经久不衰,表达先贤和智者的生活中的小幸福,因为都有一个共同的结束语,不亦乐乎或者岂不快哉,本作者冠名曰——” 不亦乐乎” 体。
而本篇论文便是对” 不亦乐乎” 体的研究及其翻译。纵横古今中外,搜集、研究并翻译历代文人墨客及当代作家甚至是网络写手乐于用 “不亦乐乎” 体表达乐观豁达的生活态度。本作者力求取其精华,去其糟粕,并试着阐述自己关于” 乐活” 的见解,自已乐活的同时,也让别人乐活。
