Abstract American writer Rachel Carson (Rachel Carson, 1907-1964) is a  landmark writer in ecological literary history, known as “the mother of the ecological literature in the United States”。 Rachel Carson published  Marine Trilogy (Under the Sea Wind in 1941, the Sea Around Us in 1951 and the Edge of the Sea in 1955) which are typical marine environmental thoughts。 

This thesis will analyze the relationships between man and marine from three aspects。 In the first aspect, humans rely on marine resources, so humans are filled with the love for marine。 Secondly, with the development of science and technology, humans atrociously plunder marine resources and capture creatures。 In the third aspect, after destruction, humans are gradually convinced of the importance of ecological consciousness, then new ecological consciousness—ecological holism comes into being。 86950

This paper aims to analyse the ecological thoughts embodied in Rachel Carson’s Marine Trilogy through these aspects and they can convince readers of the connotation of the works。 At the same time, this thesis aims to improve ecological protection concept of the public after analysis and introduction of Carson’s work。 And the development of humans’ civilization can be further promoted。

雷切尔·卡森“海洋三部曲”中的生态主义解读

摘要美国女作家蕾切尔·卡森(Rachel Carson，1907—1964)是生态文学史上里程碑式的人物，被誉为美国的“生态文学之母”。雷切尔·卡森出版的海洋三部曲《海风下》（Under the Sea Wind，1941）、《我们周围的大海》（The Sea Around Us，1951）和《在海的边缘》（The Edge of the Sea，1955）是海洋环境思想的代表作。

本篇论文将从三个方面对卡森作品中所蕴含的人与自然关系作出系统的分析。首先，本文分析了卡森作品中人类对自然的依赖；其次，探讨了在经济科技高速发展时期，人类对海洋资源的大量掠夺；最后，提出了人类在经历一系列磨难后，生态意识逐渐增强，新的生态意识，即整体意识随之而生。

通过对卡森作品的分析，挖掘其作品中的生态思想，笔者旨在加深读者对这几部作品的理解；同时，笔者希望这篇文章能够提高大众的生态保护意识，推动人类文明发展。
