Abstract English Curriculum Standards (2003) states clearly that optional English courses should be offered in high schools in the context of the new curriculum reform。 The subsequent curriculum documents and policies by national and provincial educational departments strongly promote curriculum reform as well as implementation of optional English courses in high schools, which solidifies the status of the optional in curriculum system。 88239
In accordance with the general goal of optional English courses, this paper, by means of questionnaire and interview, investigates the current situation of implementation of optional English courses at grade one in three high schools of different levels in Zhejiang Province。 The study has found the following common problems: inappropriate attitude, inadequate categories, insufficient teaching hours, unachieved effect, and blind selection in terms of the analysis of collected data。 Finally the paper attempts to provide suggested solutions for a better implementation of optional English courses in high schools。

摘 要2003年,在新一轮课改背景下,教育部颁布的《普通高中英语课程标准》提出了在高中英语教学中开设选修课的要求。之后,各地有关实施选修课的文件和政策大力推动了英语课程改革和英语选修课的落实,英语选修课在课程结构中的地位也越来越高。
本文基于高中英语选修课课程目的,以浙江省三所不同水平的高中为例,通过问卷和访谈等方式就三所学校高一年级段英语选修课的开设情况进行了调查。对调查收集所得的数据进行整理和分析后发现英语选修课在实际开设中存在问题:如态度松懈、分类不足、课时不够、效果较弱、选择盲目,并探讨了其原因。最后,针对存在的问题,尝试给出相应的意见和建议,以促进高中英语选修课的进一步完善。源-于,优W尔Y论L文.网wwW.youeRw.com 原文+QQ75201,8766
