    从目的论角度看文化专有项在英译馆藏中国瓷器中的应用
    1. Introduction
         With the rapid development of globalization and cultural integration, China, the country with a long history and profound culture, has become the destination of international tourists. According to statistics from Chinese government, the total sum of inbound tourists has exceeded 495 million in 2013. During their visits, museums of different regions have been acting an active role as windows for tourists to learn about the local history, culture and customs, from which visitors are able to have a comprehensive view on Chinese history and culture. (Chen Ji 2012) Museums play a very important role not only in tourism, but also in international relationships. Its importance has heightened the necessity of the translation of Chinese cultural relics in museums. This paper focuses on the translation of Chinese Porcelains in Museums and Skopos theory and CSIs (Culture-specific Items)will be used.
    1.1 Background of the study
          At present, more and more scholars have spared no effort to explore various methods into translating Culture-specific items perfectly. At the same time, after reading a lot of relevant literature works, the author concluded that most of them were analyzed CSIs in accordance with semantic and communicative translations, which were pointed out by Peter Newmark and Nida's cross-cultural communicative translation etc. In some studies, although Skopos theory and Aixela's theory was applied to the translation of CSI of the Chinese porcelain in the museums and even to the analysis of modern Chinese cultural literature.(赵清华 2011) From one new perspective of the references, it is very meaningful to apply these two theories to the translation of Chinese porcelain. Therefore, the prominence of this paper is to use CSIs translation strategy, combined with Skopos theory to analyze Chinese porcelain in the museum. Meanwhile, this paper also hopefully aims to explore a more feasible strategy to provide a reference to the research of theories in the related studies in the future.
    1.2 Significance of the study
        Chinese porcelain is a wonderful combination of aesthetics and life, the crystallization of science and art. It is the historical and cultural heritage and the important component for cultural promotion of China.(曹永俐2006) Owing to the cultural differences between Chinese and western countries, translators have difficulties in finding corresponding words and expressions in target language when translating culture-specific items. Therefore, how to translate culture-specific items has been attracting close attention at all times. Consequently, it is necessary to study the translation strategies of culture-specific items, and the author try to combine culture-specific items with Skopos theory, both of them are applied in the translation of Chinese porcelain in museums, and expecting gaining some research results. (赵清华 2011).
    The author believes that this paper will have certain significance through the systematic study of the translation of Chinese porcelains in the museums from the perspective of the Skopos theory and the CSIs strategies. The author hopes that this paper will provide a new point of view on the studies of the translation of Chinese porcelain and Chinese traditional culture. And hopefully this study can in one way or another encourage more people to pay more attention to it.(崔凤华 2014)
