Abstract With the development of economic globalization, English standing has risen notably。 English teaching has become a significant component of basic education。 Primary school’s English teaching is a period of laying a foundation, so it is of great significance。 However, there are many misunderstandings which give rise to the phenomenon of “Dumb English”。 This paper is based on the theory of semantic perception, analyzing communicative teaching method in primary school in a network environment。 The theory of semantic perception argues: Semantic perception has a critical period。 During the early period of children’ s growth, much attention should be paid to listening and speaking ability。 Primary school’s English teaching should focus on verbal communication。74472

摘要随着经济全球化的深入,英语的地位也随之提高。英语已经成为我国素质教育的重要组成部分,小学阶段的英语是打基础的阶段,有着相当重要的意义,但当前小学英语教学存在着种种教学误区,造成了“哑巴英语”的现象。本文基于语觉论,对小学英语交际型英语,并结合多媒体网络环境的运用进行了探讨。语觉论认为语觉存在关键期,儿童早期应注重听、说能力的培养,小学英语教学应以语言交际为中心。

1。 Introduction 

English is an international language。 With the further exploration of economic patterns of opening-up to the outside, English is becoming more and more important。 As the new national English curriculum standard published, elementary school English teaching has become a significant component of basic education。 Primary school is the most important period of students’ English learning career。 Opening up English course teaching in primary school is not only the request of the new curriculum reform, but also the request of social development。 There are many districts establishing English course teaching in primary school。 However, as things stand, the current situation of primary school’s English teaching is not as good as expected and the teaching effect is a far cry from the expectations。 Current situation of primary school’s English teaching has all kinds of misunderstandings ---paying much attention to the training of reading and writing ability but paying little attention to the ability of listening and speaking。 This leads students into an awkward situation where they can do exercises, but hard to communicate, which is so called “Dumb English”。 In our country, we have a higher standard for talents concerning foreign affairs。 What is most conspicuous is in the oral communicative competence。 Therefore, for the primary school English classroom in the period of basic education, to improve students’ oral communicative competence not only has practical value, but also can stimulate the potential of pupils’ oral ability。 This issue probes into primary school’s communicative teaching in a network environment based on the theory of semantic perception。 It mainly includes the current situation of primary school’s teaching, relevant points of the theory of semantic perception and its guidance to primary school’s teaching, the generation and characteristics of communicative teaching method and the analysis of a teaching design of primary school’s communicative teaching in a network environment。
