Abstract The mode and concept of bilingual teaching should be said a newborn in China's English education。 As a teaching mode, it was first introduced by some foreign schools in China。 At the beginning,bilingual teaching was a palliative for some schools to attract students' attention or improve the benefit of running a school, especially some kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools。 In the eyes of many educators, “Bilingual Teaching” is merely a synonym for “strengthening a foreign language” or “Chinese” and “English”。 However, with the acceleration of the process of “economic globalization” and “educational internationalization” and the change of people's ideas, more and more students choose to study abroad。 Primary schools and secondary schools have formed the heat of foreign language learning。 People have paid more and more attention to spoken language, and then many parents put forward that teachers should speak English in class。 Only a year later, the education authorities have changed its attitude to bilingual teaching from the “cold treatment” to supporting and promoting。 The leader said in a speech that you cannot be too careful in bilingual teaching。 If it is said that the bilingual teaching at the same time last year was just in the ascendant, but now it is in full swing and dynamic。 Bilingual teaching has become a beautiful landscape in the reform of foreign language teaching in China。 New English course standards also advocates bilingual teaching in English class。 But is it appropriate for primary school students? In this process, how to get a balance point in primary English class? Revised new English curriculum standards completed in 2000 has brought the traditional mode of education with many innovative ideas。 Based on the concept of bilingual teaching, the paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of bilingual teaching in the primary school English class。 It also analyzes the causes of the advantages and disadvantages。 Finally, the paper puts forward the corresponding solutions。77264

摘要双语教学的模式和理念在我国英语教育界应该说充其量还是一个新生儿,作为一种教学模式,首先是由一些境外来华办学的学校引进的。双语教学一开始是某些学校,特别是一些幼儿园,中小学为吸引生源,提高办学效益的权宜之计。在当时许多教育者眼里,“双语教学”不过是“强化外语”或者说是强化“汉语”和“英语”的代名词。然而随着经济全球化和教育国际化进程的加快,也随着人们思想观念的转变,越来越多的学生选择出国留学深造,从中小学开始就形成了外语学习热。人们越来越重视口语,很多家长都提出老师上课要说英语。仅时隔一年,教育主管部门对双语教学的态度已经从“冷处理”转为大力支持和提倡。领导发话,“双语教学怎么试验也不为过”。如果说去年此时双语教学还仅仅是处于方兴未艾的话,如今却已是如火如荼,轰轰烈烈。双语教学成了中国外语教学改革中的一道亮丽的风景线。英语新课程标准也提倡在英语课堂上使用双语教学。但是否适合小学生呢?在这一过程的开展中,小学英语课堂该如何去取得一个平衡点?2000年完成修订的英语新课程标准给传统的教育模式推出很多创新理念。本文主要从双语教学的概念出发,浅析在小学英语课堂中实行双语教学的利与弊,并且分析出现这些利与弊的原因,提出相应的解决办法。
