Abstract Dialogues in TV series, as the main media of communication among characters, reflect the characters’ status, personalities, and intention。 Therefore, analyzing the dialogues of a TV series, people can better comprehend the development of the plots and the characters’ personality。 Although there is abundant of research about conversational implicature (CI) in the dialogues, much of them focus on American and British films, Chinese TV series and modern American sitcoms。 Few studies have been carried out about the CI in the dialogues of British TV programs of police and suspense。 Sherlock, as a TV program of police and suspense, has gained tremendous popularity at home and abroad since its premiere。 Based on the dialogues in the Season 1, Episode 1 of Sherlock, this thesis analyzes the conversational implicature generated by violating the maxim of Cooperative Principle and also analyzes the application of Politeness Principle under the guidance of Conversational Implicature, Cooperative Principle and Leech’s Politeness Principle。 The present study aims to help the audience have a better comprehension of the plots and the characters’ personality。 It is also expected that the application of CI can be extended to more fields, promoting its further development。 86952

神探夏洛克》对白中的会话含义分析
摘 要 对白，作为剧中人物沟通交流的主要媒介，它能够反映人物的性格、社会地位以及真实意图，因此分析剧中对白的会话含义，能够帮助观众更好地理解故事情节的发展以及剧中人物的性格特点。现有的文献中有许多关于对白会话含义的研究，但大多集中于英美电影、中国电视剧或者英美情景喜剧，很少涉及警匪、悬疑类的英剧。而《神探夏洛克》作为一部警匪、悬疑类的影视作品，自开播以来，便在国内外获得了广泛的关注，收获了大量的粉丝。本文以《神探夏洛克》第一季第一集的对白为语料库，以会话含义理论、合作原则以及利奇的礼貌原则为指导，对剧中对白违反合作原则各项准则所产生的会话含义，以及剧中对白对礼貌原则的运用进行了具体分析。本研究旨在帮助观众更好地理解故事情节的发展以及剧中人物的性格特点，并将会话含义理论运用于更多的领域，促进它的进一步发展。
