Chinese network language came into being after China joined the Internet officially in 1994。 Although the Internet merely has a short history in China, network language has developed with an amazing speed。 According to China Network Development State Statistic Report released by China Internet Network Information Center in 2017, Chinese netizens had risen to 731 million by the end of September 2016, which is the number of the total population of Europe。 Internet has become part of our life。 Moreover, it has changed our lifestyles。 With the increasing number of netizens, the network communication has become an irreplaceable role for people to express their feelings and thoughts。 Network language comes from the language in our real life, so there are a great amount of similarities between them。 However, there are also some differences between them。 Network language is a mixture of numbers, symbols and characters。 It can be created by the need of netizens。 Besides, it doesn’t need to abide by the rules of grammar and word formation。 Some expression wrong in reality is acceptable on the Internet。 In the narrow sense, netspeak refers to the language netizens use in chatting room and BBS on the internet。 Because live chatting makes them interact immediately and express briefly with keyboarded text, they have to use some abbreviations, symbols or pictures。 This paper will be focused on the narrow netspeak。 Social dialects are a kind of language used by a particular kind of people as a communication tool。 Network language belongs to one of the new social dialects which are used by netizens to communicate on the Internet。 从概念融合角度看汉语网络语言:http://www.youerw.com/yingyu/lunwen_201544.html
