Abstract With the further strengthening of global economic integration, English pop songs are widely accepted and loved as a form of cultural exchange closely connecting music and English pop culture。 Due to the linguistic and cultural differences between the East and the West, it is of great significance to transmit the artistry of songs as much as possible through translation。 

However, it can be difficult to translate English pop songs into Chinese accurately and beautifully。 The difficulties of English pop songs translation are about how to grasp the theme of songs, how to convey the meaning of original lyrics accurately and how to perfectly match with melody。 Meanwhile, there are several problems such as insufficient translation theories and research methods in the existing translation studies of English pop songs, which result in the generally low quality of translation。     72332 

The research standard for English pop songs translation is not systematic, profound and complete, so the article starts with problems and difficulties in English pop songs translation, then focuses on the discussion about translating methods and strategies of English pop songs, hoping to summarize the translating strategies of English pop songs, as well as to provide references and opinions to translators of English pop songs。

摘  要随着全球经济一体化的进一步加强,英美流行歌曲作为一种文化交流形式，将音乐和英美流行文化两者紧密结合，被人们广泛接受并喜爱。由于东西方语言和文化的差异，因而通过翻译尽可能的传递歌曲的艺术性就具有非常重大的意义。

然而，将英美流行歌曲准确优美地翻译成中文，却存在着一定的难度。英美流行歌曲翻译的难点在于对歌曲主题思想的整体把握、对原文词义的准确传达以及与旋律的完美搭配。同时，在已有的英美流行歌曲翻译研究中也存在诸如翻译理论单一和翻译研究方法不足等问题，从而导致翻译质量普遍不高。

正因英美流行歌曲翻译标准研究还不够系统深入且欠完备，所以本文从英美流行歌曲翻译中存在的问题和困难入手，着重对英美流行歌曲的翻译方法和翻译策略进行探讨，以期对英美流行歌曲的翻译策略进行归纳，并对英美流行歌曲的译者提供参考意见。
