Abstract Phytohormone has the effect of promoting the proliferation of plant cells, which can be added to the medium of microalgae to facilitate the growth of microalgae, Chlorella vulgaris, A universal suffrage of the unicellular green alga, is not only easy to cultivate, but aslo high nutritional value, its potential is huge。
In this paper, Chlorella with the characterization of fast growth was studied。 Through the inquiry of Chlorella cell density, chlorophyll content and oil content, soluble polysaccharide content, protein content, nitrogen content, phosphorus content, pH and so on。 The effects of the effect of the addition of indole acetic acid concentration of Chlorella Growth and physiological and biochemical characteristics。 Results showed that IAA with the suitable concentration was contributed to enhance cell number, lipid productivity when it was added in adaptation period, but not helpful for Chlorophyll content。 The highest cell number and lipid productivity of Chlorella reached 1。84×107 cell/mL, and, 0。38 mg/cell, respectively, the cell number and lipid productivity was 2。25 and 1。7 folds than that of control without IAA。 And the high concentration of IAA, is not very good for the cultivation of chlorella。 10-4 mol/L IAA is the optimum growth concentration of c。pyrenoidosa。
