Indeed, scholars, home and abroad, have been thinking hard of the definition of disfuency, and still have no perfect definition yet。 But, some definitions can be reference。 Bussmann thought disfluency referred to any form of speech fluency breakdown, including pathological speech maladjustment (Bussmann, 1996)。 Shriberg defined disfluency as all parts which did not belong to the fluent speech (Shriberg, 1994)。 Though definite definitions have be made, above definitions make it further to disfluency。 Besides, several definitions on fluency, the opposite side, are easy to get。 Lesson defined fluency as “the ability of the speaker to produce indefinitely many sentences conforming to the phonological, syntactical and semantic exigencies of a given natural language on the basis of a finite exposure to a finite corpus of that language (Lesson, 1975: 136)”。 There is another more far-reaching definition defined by Fillmore。 He pointed out that at least four elements are included among the production of native language and fluent speakers possess all the four abilities。 These abilities include being fast, coherent, informational, and creative (Fillmore, 1979)。 However, these definitions mentioned are the SLA level。 The disfluency in this paper is not the ability of language, but the language production affected by different moods and environment。 More pauses, repeats, incomplete words (pa。。。pa。。。pass away), and fillers (well, all right) are added to the sentences。 This is different from those disfluency caused by low language ability, because the disfluency here has social contact meanings。
