摘 要定语从句是英语语法中的重要内容之一，也是英语教学的主要组成部分。在英语中英语定语从句的使用范围广，频率高。对于不同类型的定语从句的翻译方式也是不同的，其中特别需要注意的是在英语中定语从句通常需要放在所修饰词之后，而在汉语中这种情况很少，修饰的词一般不会太多，很长，也就是这一特点，我们在作英汉翻译时要注意其翻译技巧上的变化。本文主要将会从限制性定语从句，非限制性定语从句和兼有状语职能的定语从句进行翻译技巧上的分析，进而从定语从句的基本概念，定语从句在学习中常遇到的问题和翻译的策略的三个方面进行论述。力求更好的使用和理解定语从句，以期帮助学生更好的掌握定语句，提高他们对定语从句学习的兴趣。82952

Abstract The attributive clause is one of the important contents in the English grammar, which is also the main part of English teaching。 In English, attributive clause is used widely and frequently。 Translation methods are various for different types of attributive clause, which needs peculiar attention。 As a modifier, English attributive clause usually need to be put after the noun, and this kind of situation seldom appears in Chinese, which is too long and has too many words。 When we do English-Chinese translation, we should pay attention to the translation skills。 This article will analyze the translation techniques of attributive clause including the restrictive attributive clause and non-restrictive attributive clause, and attributive clauses with adverbial functions。 In addition, it is pided into mainly three parts: the basic concepts of the attributive clause, the common problems of the attributive clause and the translation strategies of the attributive clause。 It is to use and understand the attributive clause better。 The paper aims at solving the problems students are facing in the study of the attributive clause to promote their interests in learning English。

I。 Introduction

    In English, the attributive clause is used to modify, limit, describe the sentence of noun, pronoun, noun or pronoun phrases and even the whole sentences。 From the word order, it is placed after the attributive clause of antecedent, which is as an adjective structure of subject and predicate in a sentence。 The attributive clause is one of the basic important sentence, which appear a lot in English。 It can be classified these sentences such as short or long sentences, simple or complex sentences, strong and weak on the attributive role of antecedent and so on。 Especially, some attributive sentences have the meaning of reason , result, concession, purpose, condition, assumption in logic。
