摘 要2001年7月,《英语新课标》提出,把提高学生的综合能力作为总体目标。这种综合能力是基于语言知识、语言技巧、情感、学习策略以及跨文化交际的意识,而且听力技巧在语言技巧中占据着首要的位置,因此,英语听力课堂对于初中教学非常重要。格莱斯的合作原则解释了人们的日常口语交际,为了理解说话人的真正意图,学生应该注意在听力理解练习中违反合作原则时,说话人真正想要表达什么。因此,作者主要利用合作原则对听力课堂中所运用到的实例进行分析,并提出一些提高学生听力能力的建议。所以,在作者看来,英语老师要把合作原则应用到英语听力教学中去, 这对于初中听力课堂有着重要的作用。79994

Abstract In July, 2001, the new Nation English Curriculum states that the overall target is to develop students’ comprehensive competence for using the language。 The competence is based on linguistic knowledge, language skills, affect, learning strategies as well as cross-cultural awareness。 While listening skill has primacy among language skills, English listening classroom is very important in junior middle school。 Grice’s Cooperative Principle plays an important role in explaining people’s verbal communication。 In order to grasp the real meaning of speakers, students need notice the situation when CP theory is violated literately and understand what the speakers really want to express in English listening comprehension exercises。 So the author mainly applies the Cooperative Principle to discuss the examples used in the listening class, and then puts forward some suggestions for students to improve their listening ability。 Therefore, English teachers should introduce Grice’s Cooperative Principle to students, which is of great importance in listening class in junior middle school。

An Analysis of the Application of Cooperative Principle to the English Listening Class in Junior Middle School
I。 Introduction
With the realization of economic globalization, English has “soaked” China by storms that make we Chinese people enter a nationwide English times。 Therefore, it requires that students should acquire some proficiency in English in today’s world。 Listening has primacy among language skills, but it is regarded as a weak point for English learners in junior middle school。 Because in traditional English listening class, teachers always follow these procedures: switching on the radio; students listening to the radio and doing the listening exercises; correcting the answers between teachers and students; students repeating the materials sentence by sentence after listening to the radio。 For a long term, teachers and students have become accustomed to the traditional three-step teaching method which is “play the radio, listen, and correct the mistakes” in English listening class。 Many students think the listening class based on this method is uninteresting and just putted as a task, and do not do practice of listening comprehension in spare times。 As a result, they only know the literal meaning of materials, but do not know how to apply English to actual communications。 When students do the same exercises once again, they still do not know why we choose this answer。 Therefore, as an English teacher in junior middle school, they should change the teaching modes, and cultivate the listening ability。论文网
