Finally, combining theory with practice, study the application of cost control in a building construction project. Put forward the basic idea of the whole process of cost control. To achieve the expected cost goal, effective measures should be taken to control the cost, the main costs are labor cost, materials cost, structural cost, turnover cost of materials, machinery cost, indirect cost, subcontract cost, etc. Analyzing the causes of cost overruns combined with the access of relevant datas; analyzing and forecasting the project cost trends and the influencing factors of engineering project cost, ensure to achieve the goals; at the same time, establishing a project manager as the core of cost control system and the responsibility of every post; combine with practical engineering, applying the cost accounting and profit and loss analysis to the actual project, compare and analyze the budget cost, planned cost and actual cost, achieved good economic benefits.
The cost control of the construction project is the key which directly affect the market competitiveness of the construction enterprise and the central content of project management. Consequently, researching the cost control of the construction project has the practical significance to improve the market competitiveness.
